Urban Looks was founded in Beirut in 1999 by Lydia Saleh, with a simple but ambitious vision: to bring children’s fashion to Lebanon that felt different, exciting, and ahead of the curve.

From the very beginning, Lydia believed that children’s clothing should have just as much personality, style, and originality as adult fashion. Rather than simply following what was already available locally, she looked outward, travelling to Europe, particularly France and Italy, to discover emerging brands, new collections, and the latest trends in kids’ fashion.

More than 25 years later, she still does.

Lydia remains at the heart of Urban Looks, personally searching for distinctive brands and hand-selecting pieces that reflect the store’s signature point of view: fashion-forward, playful, original, and made to stand out.

Over the years, her eye for style has made Urban Looks a familiar name in children’s fashion in Beirut. For many families, the store has become part of their own history.
